Wall and centre seal with short glass insertion

This vertical shower door seal reduces water leakage between a shower door and a fixed glass panel or between a glass panel and the wall. Its short glass grip makes it particularly suitable for shower enclosures with narrow gaps or fittings that protrude on the inside of the glass. The flexible sealing fin helps create a barrier against splashes while allowing the shower door to move freely. This replacement shower seal is available for exact glass thicknesses of 6mm or 8mm. The shower seal features a compact, 5mm-high rigid PVC section that grips the glass, combined with a soft PVC sealing fin that adapts to the adjoining surface. Depending on the selected glass thickness, the overall height of the seal is either 13mm or 16.5mm.

Important: This shower seal is designed for an exact glass thickness of either 6mm or 8mm. Unlike seals that accommodate a range of glass thicknesses, each version must match the glass measurement precisely. Please check your glass thickness carefully before ordering and refer to the technical drawings to select the correct variant.

Easy installation

Replacing your wall and centre seal is simple and requires no specialist assistance. First, remove the existing seal and thoroughly clean the glass edge to remove any dirt, soap residue or limescale. Once the glass is clean and dry, carefully push the new shower seal onto the compatible glass panel.

The seal is supplied in a 200cm length and can be shortened to suit the height of your shower door or fixed glass panel. Measure the required length before trimming it with suitable tools, such as mitre shears, an anvil cutter or a fine-toothed saw.

Care instructions

To maintain your shower seal, regularly wipe it with lukewarm water and a soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn dirt, use a mild cleaning product that does not contain chlorine or alkaline ingredients. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and solvents, as these may damage the PVC material and affect its transparent appearance.
