Hollow chamber seal with large sealing bellows

This hollow chamber shower door seal is designed to close wider gaps between glass doors, fixed shower panels or a glass panel and the wall. Its flexible hollow chamber helps keep water inside the shower enclosure by creating an effective barrier against splashes. When installed between a shower door and a fixed glass panel, the seal allows the door to open both inwards and outwards.

The shower seal features a rigid PVC section that grips the glass securely and an oversized hollow chamber made from soft PVC. This combination provides stability while allowing the flexible chamber to adapt to the gap between adjoining surfaces. Its transparent finish blends naturally into modern glass shower enclosures, making it a practical replacement for damaged shower seals where a wider gap needs to be covered.

Easy installation

This hollow chamber shower seal can be shortened to match the height of your shower door. Measure the required length carefully before trimming the seal with suitable tools, such as mitre shears, an anvil cutter or a fine-toothed saw. Once cut to size, simply push the rigid PVC section onto the edge of the compatible glass. The flexible hollow chamber then helps close the gap between the adjoining surfaces, reducing the amount of water escaping from the shower enclosure. Before ordering, check that your glass measures 6–8mm in thickness and compare the dimensions of your existing shower seal with the replacement. The oversized hollow chamber is particularly useful for wider gaps where a standard shower seal may not provide sufficient coverage.

Care instructions

Regular cleaning helps maintain the appearance and flexibility of your shower seal. Use lukewarm water and a soft microfibre cloth to gently remove soap residue and everyday dirt. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents and products containing chlorine or alkaline ingredients, as these may damage the PVC material and affect its transparent finish.
