Sweep seal with long sealing lip

This clear shower seal with a long sealing fin helps to prevent splashes and is designed for glass shower doors measuring 6–8mm thick. Its flexible 18mm fin making it an ideal replacement for worn shower screen seals.

The main advantage of this shower sweep seal is its extended 18mm sealing fin, which provides effective protection against water escaping between the glass door and the shower tray or floor.

The profile is designed to cover different gap sizes depending on the glass thickness:

• 6mm glass: Suitable for gaps of up to 19mm.
• 8mm glass: Suitable for gaps of up to 21mm.

This makes the long-fin seal particularly useful for shower doors with larger clearances where a shorter shower seal may not provide sufficient coverage. The replacement shower seal combines a rigid PVC section that grips the glass securely with a soft, flexible sealing fin that helps keep water inside the shower enclosure.

Easy installation

The 100cm length is ideal for narrower shower doors and can easily be cut to the required size using suitable tools, such as mitre shears or a fine-toothed saw.

This shower seal is designed for straight glass doors and is not suitable for curved or quadrant shower enclosures. For these installations, please choose a compatible pre-curved shower seal.

Cleaning and maintenance

To keep your clear PVC shower seal in good condition, clean it regularly with lukewarm water and a soft microfibre cloth. Avoid bleach, abrasive cleaners, solvents and strongly alkaline products, as these may damage the material or affect its transparency.
